This unique line of dinnerware is part of the Dressed collection, designed by Marcel Wanders for Alessi. With its scalloped edges and baroque, incised decoration on the surface of some pieces, simple surfaces on others, you can mix and match to set a spectacular table. What really makes Dressed interesting is that most of the pieces feature the relief decoration on their underside, Wanders’ way of incorporating traditional design while creating something strikingly modern. In Wanders' words, "Function is not the reason we love things, function is where we start. Decorations play a role in understanding the object."
