Caran d'Ache, in collaboration with Vitra and Studio Girard, brings the graphic aesthetics and colourful patterns of Alexander Girard to their iconic 849 ballpoint pen. Girard's furniture, interior, graphic, and, most notably, textile design made him a leading figure of post-war design. These limited edition pens, Check Stripes and Double Triangle, use Girard's motifs for decoration as fresh today as it was decades ago. Made of sturdy, lightweight aluminum with shiny lacquer, the clip and button of are coated with rose gold on the Check Stripes pen and matte black chrome on the Double Triangle pen. These Swiss-made ballpoint pens come packaged in metal gift boxes.
