Dressed Cake Stand and Cover
This elegant cake stand is part of the Dressed in Wood project, designed for Alessi by Marcel Wanders. The stand is shaped by artisans in Italy's Valle Strona from beech wood, a material which has knots and veins that make each piece unique. The base is carved with Wander's ornamental relief pattern, which characterizes this collection. The cake stand has a domed cover in clear thermoplastic resin with a wooden knob, which comes separately.
